A fresh mix of our Trimmed French Beans & Trimmed Yellow Wax Beans, one of our best selling items. These beans are the Aristocrats of the Bean Family. They can be cooked whole if they are small. Larger ones can be cut into 1 inch chunks. Simmer or steam till just tender. French Green Beans are also know was Haricot Vert, while the Yellow Wax Beans are known as Haricot Beurre. These beans are very delicate and must be harvested by hand.
Our Earth Exotics™ packaging is unique and is designed for ease of use and with the intent of creating very little waste. Although our packaging is microwave capable, it is not the optimal way to prepare vegetables. We highly encourage you to try other cooking methods such as roasting, sautéing, steaming, and even boiling in some cases. You will find that the vegetables will have a better texture and flavor by utilizing some of these tried and true cooking methods, and will leave you with a better eating experience.
MICROWAVE: Cut corner of bag, microwave on high 3 - 4 minutes.
STEAM: Cut corner of bag, place in steamer over boiling water for 11 -1 3 minutes.
BOIL: Remove French Beans from bag, boil in salted water for 7 - 9 minutes.

Always look for the youngest, brightest and freshest looking beans that have crisp pods. Leave the ones that are wilted or discolored.
Keep Fresh Beans in the bag they come in until use. After the bag has been opened, place in the Refrigerator Crisper. The beans will stay fresh for 3-5 days.
HANDLING & PREPARATION
Cook and east as soon as you can to preserve texture, flavor and goodness. Keep in a cool, dry place. All Bean, if young and tender can be frozen.
